304 French Strad Copy
French Strad Copy, c 1930, labelled Le Stentor I Antonius Stradivarius etc, and Lutherie Vosgienne. Very striking instrument - all the violins in my photos look redder than they are, but this one is seriously red - the reddest violin I have ever had in stock. It is made with really good wood, really tight-grained spruce and narrow-flame maple. Well made with good edgework, one from the higher end of the workshop range. Great sound, warm and powerful. Lovely fiddle. But red. Very red.
Condition: Very fresh - just a few tiny knocks, but looks practically new. No issues at all.
Set-up: Original rosewood pegs, new matching chin rest. New sound post and Aubert bridge, new Wittner tailpiece and Helicore strings.
Price, including a new case and bow: SOLD
