Early 20th Century violin labelled and branded Marquis de l'air d'Oiseaux.Anno. Two-piece maple back with strong, narrow flame. Yellow-brown varnish. One of the higher quality violins made in Mirecourt. Warm, mature sound, with more power than a lot of full-size instruments. One for a very lucky and talented young player. Condition: One old saddle crack, professionally repaired with internal cleats and hardly visible. A few very light dings and scratches, but on the whole very clean for its age.
