Mid 20th Century violin, labelled Antonius Stradivarius etc, Made in Czechoslovakia. Two-piece flamed maple back. Golden brown varnish. Strong, bright tone. A great value violin for an advancing student.
Condition: The rear centre seam has separated. The back has been taken off and the separation glued and well cleated, making a very solid repair. Other than that there are only a few very minor scratches and dings, as is to be expected on a violin of this age.
Set up with new bridge, new ebony pegs, Warchal Nefrit strings and Wittner tailpiece.
