Early 20th Century Mirecourt violin, unlabelled. This is one of the Medio Fino type instruments, made simply with plain woods and scratched-on purfling. As with most of these instruments, the sound is excellent. It has a big, round sound, nice and rumbly on the G and sweet on the E. A real bargain at the price - I doubt it will last long... Condition: Hardly a scratch on it. No cracks or repairs. Set up: New rosewood pegs, new bridge, soundpost, Tonica strings and Wittner tailpiece. Price: SOLD
