591 French Strad Copy
Late 19th century Mirecourt Strad Copy labelled L.E.J.T. L.incomparable Mirecourt 1894. Two-piece back, lightly flamed. The scroll is plain but the purfling is inlaid, suggesting it was a mid-range instrument when it was made. Nice, d​​eep red varnish over a yellow ground. It has a bright, even sound, quite smooth, responsive. 
Condition: Dings and scratches commensurate with age, but no cracks or repairs.
Set-up: New rosewood pegs, new sound post, Aubert bridge, Wittner tailpiece and Tonica strings.
