600 German Viola
Early to mid-twentieth century German viola, labelled Antonius Stradivarius etc. Back length 15.3/8", 39.2cms. Made with lovely woods; very tight-grained spruce and strongly flamed maple. It plays well, very even across the strings, a very nice instrument for an advancing student or amateur orchestra member. These vintage and antique violas are getting harder and harder to come by, especially ones in such good condition.
Condition: Dings and scratches commensurate with age. No cracks, repairs or other issues.
Set-up: New rosewood pegs with a gold pin. New sound post and Aubert bridge. New Wittner tailpiece and Superflexible strings.
