Modern German violin, from a recognised maker. Made with the best of woods, close-grained spruce and broad-flamed maple. Gold-brown varnish, not so orange as in the photos. Very clean and fresh instrument. Clear, smooth tone, very even across the range.
Condition: It has some scratches underneath the tailpiece caused by a poor set-up in the past, but other than that it has very few signs of use.
Set-up: Original ebony pegs. New soundpost and Aubert bridge, new Wittner tailpiece and Helicore strings.
