Late nineteenth / early twentieth century Mirecourt viola, labelled Artisans lutherie artistique and Carlo Bergonzi etc. Made with good woods and craftsmanship and nice, deep red varnish. LOB 16 inches, 41cm. The sound is warm and sweet, deep and mature.
Condition: Some scratches and varnish wear but no cracks, repairs or other issues.
Set-up: New ebony fingerboard and top nut. New rosewood pegs, new sound post and Aubert bridge, new Helicore strings and Wittner tailpiece.
