634 German Strad Copy
Early 20th Century Strad copy, German. Quality instrument, made with very good wood - great flamed maple back. The label is very worn and unreadable, but is probably a standard Antonius Stradivarius one. It has a big, warm, sound, plenty of power, quick response. Would be a great session fiddle.
Condition: It has one repaired wing crack, visible in the photo, and plenty of dings and scratches, commensurate with a lot of previous work. A well-played instrument.
Set-up: New rosewood pegs and chin-rest. New Aubert bridge. New Wittner tailpiece and Helicore strings.
Price, including a new case and bow: SOLD
