Mid-20th Century violin, unlabelled, probably made in Markneukirchen. One piece back of broad flame, good close-grained spruce for the top. Red-gold varnish. Great fiddle, easy to play and with a big, warm voice. Won't last long at this price.
Condition: One repaired wing crack and the inevitable minor dings, but a good clean instrument with no issues.
Set-up: Original ebony pegs, new matching chin rest. New sound post and Aubert bridge, new Wittner tailpiece and Tonica strings.
Price, including a new case and bow: SOLD
