Early to mid-twentieth century Mirecourt Strad copy, labelled copie d'apres Antonius Stradivarius etc. Great workmanship, and a nice one-piece back. It would have been a mid-range fiddle when it was built, and the fingerboard is not ebony, hence the lower price for an instrument of this quality.
Condition: A few light dings but generally extremely clean.
Set-up: Original rosewood pegs, new soundpost and bridge, new Helicore strings and Wittner tailpiece. Every Wild Goat Fiddle is checked carefully, and fingerboards and top-nuts are adjusted or replaced as necessary.
Price, including a new case and bow: SOLD
