Early to mid twentieth century French violin, labelled copie d'aprés A Stradivarious année 1932 (or 1952). Made with good woods and meticulous workmanship, the orange-gold varnish antiqued at the time of construction. Very responsive, with a round, even sound - nice instrument for any kind of music.
Condition: A few dings and varnish blemishes but in general very clean. No cracks, repairs or other issues.
Set-up: New ebony pegs and chin rest, new soundpost and bridge, new Helicore strings and Wittner tailpiece. Every Wild Goat Fiddle is checked carefully, and fingerboards and top-nuts are adjusted or replaced as necessary;
