Italian violin, made in 1923. This is an instrument has been in my family since the 1940s. It is one for a serious professional. It has a huge voice, full of dynamics and character. One-piece flamed maple back. Fluted f-holes and beautiful edgework. Golden red varnish. A very high class instrument. Condition: The violin has two short cracks, each about two inches, one beside the bass bar and one beside the fingerboard at the neck. Both have been professionally repaired by Kuros Torkzadeh and present no cause for concern. There are a few very light dings and scratches, but in general the violin is in remarkably good condition. Set up with new bridge, Infeld Blue strings and Wittner tailpiece. Price. On application.
