Chinese Violas

If you're a viola player on a budget I recommend a hand-made Chinese instrument. These violas are made in small workshops in various parts of China, and the workmanship is very good. I check the set-ups, which often need adjusting, and put good quality strings and Wittner tailpieces on them. The result is a range of instruments that are comfortable to play and sound very good, but are very affordable. The photos below are instruments in stock at the time of creating this page, but don't necessarily represent current stock, but I generally have a good range of regular and antiqued varnish styles.
