I don't have a shop or keep office hours, and I can't always reach the phone. Please text or email me if you would like to make an appointment to come and try some instruments, and I will ring you back. I am quite flexible about times and days, but appointments are essential.
Visiting Wild Goat Fiddles.
The showroom is in my house. It is also my workshop, and not a suitable place for small children. I have to limit visitors to a maximum of three in the workshop at a time. Please note that I don't have public toilet facilities.
A note about descriptions. I have made every effort to describe my instruments fully and honestly. Any faults that are evident to me have been noted. However, my assessments of tone are purely subjective and might not be the same as those of another player.Labels in violins can be very deceptive, and the trade is full of false ones. If there are any cases where I believe a label to be misleading I will declare it. In all other cases, I believe the label to be genuine, but I can not guarantee that it is.Photographs I am not a great photographer and I don't have a great camera, but I hope you can get an idea of the instruments from the images. In particular, nearly all the photographs have too much red in them, so please be aware of this when making your assessment.Posting instruments I recommend that you come and try a few instruments before you buy. However, if you would prefer to have one posted to you I am willing to do this. Postage will be at cost price, and I can accept payment via bank transfer in euros or sterling or, by prior arrangement, through Paypal. Contact me if you would like more information about anything.
