20th Century Czech violin, probably made in the 30s, labelled Ladislav F Prokop etc. Nice workshop instrument with high arching and two-piece flamed maple back. Orange-brown varnish. Not all that loud, but the sound is smooth and clear. Condition: Lower left front corner has lost a couple of millimetres. Light varnish dings, but generally very good. Set up with Tonica strings and Wittner tailpiece. Price. €500
