Early 20th Century German Strad copy, labelled Antonius Stadivarius etc. Underneath this something has been scratched out. It's my belief that it once said Made in Germany, but I can't guarantee this. It's an attractive workshop instrument, made with decent wood and varnished with red over a golden ground. The sound is bright and clear, not too loud. A nice instrument for an advancing student. Great value at this price for a vintage violin. Condition: A few dings and scratches but nothing worse. Set-up: New ebony pegs, new soundpost and Aubert bridge. New Tonica strings and Wittner tailpiece. Price, including a new case and bow, €425
