455 German Strad Copy
Early 20th Century German Strad copy, labelled Antonius Stadivarius etc. Underneath this something has been scratched out. It's my belief that it once said Made in Germany, but I can't guarantee this. It's an attractive workshop instrument, made with decent wood and varnished with red over a golden ground. The sound is bright and clear, not too loud. A nice instrument for an advancing student. Great value at this price for a vintage violin.
Condition: A few dings and scratches but nothing worse.
Set-up: New ebony pegs, new soundpost and Aubert bridge. New Tonica strings and Wittner tailpiece.
