Early to mid 20th century German Guarneri copy. Made with good woods - tight-grained spruce top and strongly flamed two-piece back. Red-brown varnish. The sound is warm, open, robust. Very responsive, and a great pleasure to play. Condition: There is a repaired wing crack and someone has scratched their initials on one of the back corners, barely visible. A few dings and scratches to the varnish, but no major issues. Set-up: Original ebony pegs, new chinrest. New soundpost and Aubert bridge. New Wittner tailpiece and Infeld Blue strings. Price, including a new case and bow: SOLD
