Mid-twentieth century Czech Strad copy, labelled as such, and stamped Concert Violin on the back of the scroll. Extremely attractive fiddle, made with beautiful woods and a light, blonde varnish. It is responsive, bright and well-balanced. Some young person will have great fun with this fiddle.
Condition: The ribs have been reglued to the end block in a minor and stable repair. Otherwise pretty much perfect, apart from a couple of light varnish dings.
Set-up: New ebony pegs, new soundpost and bridge, new Helicore strings and Wittner tailpiece. Every Wild Goat Fiddle is checked carefully, and fingerboards and top-nuts are adjusted or replaced as necessary.
